The Pittsburgh-based government affairs consulting firm, Wellington Strategies, has opened a new office in Washington D.C. The new location at 1440 G St NW Washington, DC 20005, will be overseen by Jamie Kunchick, Director, Government Affairs of Wellington Strategies. Kunchick will focus on research and policy consulting projects, strategic development of government outreach efforts, and strategic program development for clients seeking public subsidy funding opportunities at the federal level.

“The Wellington team and reach is continuing to grow, and we’re pleased to have Jamie join us to further solidify our expertise in Washington,” said Joseph Kuklis, founder, President and CEO of Wellington Strategies.

An expert on working with policy at the federal level, Jamie’s experience deals with research, consulting, and strategic development. Before joining the Wellington team, Jamie worked in the legal department of American Eagle Outfitters overseeing corporate governance and security cases. Additionally, Jamie assisted the Arnold Schwarzenegger gubernatorial re-election campaign as a campaign assistant and on-air general reporter.

Jamie’s wide array of accomplishments doesn’t end there; She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from San Diego State University, and is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University, where she recently became a member of their National Honor Society.

“I am so grateful and excited to join the Wellington team and aid them in their success in D.C,” said Kunchick.” I feel confident in my ability to make a difference in D.C. by helping innovative companies in their policy process and development.”
