Problem Solutions to Build Next Generation Human Capital Applications with Zebra Technologies’ Savanna Platform

Problem Solutions (PS), a Pennsylvania- based professional services firm and PartnerConnect ISV program member that delivers boutique technology solutions, announced that it has been selected for a next generation early adopter program with Zebra Technologies Corporation. Zebra is the market leader in rugged mobile computers, barcode scanners and barcode printers enhanced with software and services to enable real-time visibility. On September 26, 2017, Zebra announced Savanna™, a fundamental building-block platform for accelerating Enterprise Asset Intelligence and the digital transformation of enterprise operations for Zebra’s customers and partners.
“We are thrilled to have received this opportunity to work with the world-class team at Zebra. It enables us to expand our technology capabilities and reach new spaces."
PS is building its next generation capabilities on Savanna™ to create new learning and human capital management solutions for its customers. PS builds products and technologies in the IOT, mobile, learning and talent management space. PS also assisted the US Government and Department of Defense to build the Experience API (xAPI) specification which enables next generation capability for tracking learning and human performance. The specification is part of new procurement guidance for the US Government in a Department of Defense Instruction (DoDi 1322.26) [www.adlnet.gov/dodi]. The previous specification, called the Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM), was also required by DoDi 1322.26 and catalyzed the $5 Billion Learning Management System market and accelerated the $50+ Billion e-learning market. PS was one of five companies selected to partner with Zebra for Savanna™ mutual acceleration towards creating exciting new capabilities for Zebra and PS customers. “We are thrilled to have received this opportunity to work with the world-class team at Zebra. It enables us to expand our technology capabilities and reach new spaces. We have been building next generation learning and human capital solutions, and this allows us to take them to the broad distribution network on a next generation enterprise platform,” says Problem Solutions President and CEO, Michael Hruska. Problem Solutions will be building solutions that allow Zebra devices and platforms to have a capability to capture “data exhaust” about people in performance on the job using Zebra devices. The technology will assist with showing organizational effectiveness of training and learning investments and how they manifest in on the job performance using mobile computing and IOT devices to capture the data.
