TechVibe Radio Neighborhood Tour at Huntington Bank East Liberty

TechVibe Radio is kicking off its third year of the Neighborhood Tour (TNT) putting a spotlight on Pittsburgh's neighborhoods and the tech companies behind them. Huntington Bank opened its new East Liberty branch for us to set up shop and record a couple shows. This first show features Huntington Bank's Steve Carpenter kicking off the show with us. He'll overview some of Huntington's new banking apps and he will detail how Huntington integrates itself into every neighborhood that it resides in. Fast forward to the 9 minute mark for Christopher Evans of Savvior. Savvior's team of expert programmers and consultants are able to deliver results. Whether you need outsourced programming for your design team, dedicated server hosting, ecommerce, ecommunications, document management or content management solutions. Start listening at the 18:30 mark to hear from Penn State New Kensington Chancellor Dr. Kevin Snider detail The Corner co-working space and LaunchBox. The Corner LaunchBox program and co-working space concepts were made possible in part by a seed grant of $150,000 from Invent Penn State, a Commonwealth-wide initiative to spur economic development, job creation and student career success. Penn State New Kensington used the grant to create a unique model that melds entrepreneurship, co-working space and community-driven economic development to revitalize the city. At the 31 minute mark Mona McGraw will tell you about NuRelm's two decades as a local resource for Web development, 24/7 website support, software integration, and custom Web application development. Be sure to also check out a sizzle real of the TechVibe Radio Neighborhood Tour right here.
